Welcome to the official website of Baglan Dragons Football Club, the newest members of the second tier of Welsh Football, the JD Cymru South.
Our journey in the South Wales Amateur league started in the 1999-2000 season in division 2 when we were known as Red Dragon & Baglan. We stayed at this level before gaining promotion to division one as champions at the end of the 2002-03 season.

In 2004, we changed our name to Baglan Red Dragons and in our second season in division 1 of the Amateur league, we missed out on the runners-up spot on goal difference.

In 2009, we changed our name to Baglan Dragons FC.

We were placed in the 1st division of the new South Wales Alliance League in the 2015-16 season after the merger of the South Wales Amateur and the South Wales Senior leagues, and were promoted after finishing as runners-up to Canton Liberal.

Over the last few years, our club has soared to new heights every single season, starting with becoming champions of the South Wales Alliance League in the 21/22 season, being crowned at Merthyr Saints after an incredible season.

The 22/23 season was even better. After a slow start to the season, our first team went on an incredible run to reach the Ardal league playoff final at the home of Penydarren BGC against an excellent Risca United. The boys dug in for the full 90 and two goals from Jordan Evans took us to the unbelievable heights of the JD Cymru South.

Once the playoff final finished, our first team traveled to Leeds Bradford airport to join our reserves on tour in Benidorm.
